Jagannath Surpure, M.D., FACEP, FAAP
Dr. Jagannath “Jag” Surpure is a pioneer in the relatively new field of pediatric emergency medicine.
A native of India, he trained in England before coming to the U.S. in 1973 and spent 17 years teaching at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. While there, he worked with the American College of Emergency Physicians to design courses that trained doctors in emergency treatment of children.
Jagannath Surpure is Medical Director and has the unique distinction of being a triple board-certified physician in: Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Adult Emergency Medicine. He is a former founding director of pediatric emergency services at UMC hospital, and a former founding director of pediatric emergency services at UMC Hospital. Prior to Children’s Urgent Care, he spent seventeen years at the University of Oklahoma’s Children and Adult Hospital as a teaching faculty emergency room physician. He has spent time instructing and providing continuing medical education courses to pediatric doctors in the United States and Abroad. He has also written over thirty medical journal articles, several book chapters, and books in pediatric emergency care.
He has served as a member of the editorial board and section editor for several Pediatric Emergency Care Journals. He edited a textbook published in India, Synopsis of Pediatric Emergency Care. He was active early on in introducing training courses (Pediatric Advanced Life Support and APLS: The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Course) in principles of resuscitation, stabilization, and transport of critically ill or injured children for child healthcare providers across India.
Kathleen A. Weber, D.O.
Dr Kathleen Weber has been a long time resident of Las Vegas treating our youngest members of our community! After receiving her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences -College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her pediatric residency at Los Angeles County +USC Medical Center and following that served two years in USAF.
Dr Weber takes pride in building relationships with her patients and their families , making a trip to the doctor fun experience. She strives to practice the highest quality pediatric care while building partnerships with parents and patients. Her areas of interest include neonatology, adolescent medicine, preventative care and long time special focus in treating children with ADHD.
Outside the office, Dr Weber enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, enjoys cooking, watching movies, attending music events. She loves outdoor walks and hikes and spending times with good friends and family.
Sujatha Battula FNP-C
Sujatha Battula is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with years of experience in various specialties including pediatrics, emergency, and urgent care. She has a Masters Degree in Nursing Science with a major as a family nurse practitioner from Walden University.
Josh Harold, APRN-PCNP
Josh is an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner. Josh received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University and Masters of Science in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University in 1994.
Senialita S. Abarquez, MSN, FNP-C
Senialita is a medical provider with 28 years of experience in the field of health care. She received her doctor of medicine degree in 1987 from Far Eastern University –NMRF, Philippines. She pursued studies at the University of Las Vegas Nevada for her MSN-FNP in 2007. She was a practicing Family Physician in the Philippines for 16 years and as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP Board Certified) for 12 years now.
